It is what it is

I should have read the book discription on this site with closer attention, I guess. INDEED, it is the equivalent of the classnotes and some simple exercises to go with them -- for a computer club. Let me put it this way... it would indeed be "Easy", if I'd sat in on the lecturtes that the book is a result of. But I could have benefitted from some screenshots/slides, and a little more expansion on the commands he DOES teach. Easy, but not easy enough without a "tutor"... for a non-hacker.

Good basic overview

Purchased this book needing a good overview of the language. It does the job, explaining structure and definitions. However, it does not take very well to the Kindle, which is odd as it is supposed to be written for the Kindle. Many words do not have spaces between them, sometimes more than two. Aside from being hard to read because of the spacing problem, I got my questions answered.
