Common Sense Eating Plan

A friend was following the eating plan (NOT a diet) in this book, so I bought it to read. It makes so much sense and my friend found it easy to follow the hints etc and, she was not hungry or looking for sweet stuff all the time. I also liked the advice to eat proper, natural foods ie butter, full cream milk, olive oil, eggs, meat protein and lots of vegetables. This is what I have always believed but have always been treated as a bit weird by lots of people.
One difficult part of the eating plan is to try to buy foods without additives and preservatives. A sign of the times I guess.

This book is a fantastic guide to modern healthy living. Rather than a diet, it's about adopting healthy lifelong habits one at a time. Cyndi's approach is an interesting blend of traditional common sense and well researched principles. And she writes in an engaging non-judgemental style. I'll be going back to this one on a regular basis!! My first habit change is to not eat after 7PM - seems to be working so far ;-]

A book full of information about how to live a healthier life without making drastic sacrifices. Loved it and will keep reading it again and again to make sure the info sinks in.
